#WEW Alexis Pulido - Executive Director

Alexis Pulido is the executive director at Americas Community Center (501c3 non-profit), where she handles the behind-the-scenes day-to-day operations of the organization. In 2019, she decided to step back into the workplace while enjoying her time as a stay-at-home mom of two girls since 2015. Alexis graduated from Florida International University with a master’s degree in Hospitality Management and a certificate in Event Planning in 2010. During her studies and after graduation, she excelled in her event production a career working for top-ranked event production companies in South Florida before starting her family in 2015, when she left the industry to focus on her family. Alexis has had the best of both worlds between her career and family life where she is currently enjoying the balance of working from home with her youngest and being able to show her girls the beauty of working for a non- profit and giving back to the community.
